Our students
Delaneys Creek State School currently has more than 200 students enrolled. The students partake in a variety of curricular and extra curricular educational experiences. These include: learning through a range of information technologies, interschool sports, spelling, debating and maths competitions; garden to kitchen program and cooking. We have resident chooks which help to add to the enjoyment of a child's school day.
Our community
The town of Delaneys Creek has its history in farming and this has attracted new residents who appreciate big blocks and a quiet life. The growth of the area is reflected in the town’s growing primary school, which focuses on a modern outlook supported by traditional values within its small school environment.
Our history
The original school house and classroom is today used for our school
administration and staffroom. Today’s classrooms are fully air-conditioned,
have a fridge for placing students lunches and a range of learning environments
to offer individualized learning.
